Ah yes, perfect. Thank you for pointing this out. So then it should go without saying that we can’t just throw away coaches at the disposal of some of these big schools, and that means we actually might have to give coaches more than 2 or 3 years every time we don’t see the results we want.

More than a few of of our fans have champagne tastes on a beer budget ....

And I think FSU was dumb to fire Taggart already.  Tags only proven results are turning a program around in 3 years, not winning a championship immediately (or ever for that matter).  They clearly had regrets about not getting a P5 big time winner for a coach, and got scared when he had losses.

This is why I stick to Claws. It's bubbly and fruity like champagne, but it's cheap like beer.

I’m seeing that. There were plenty of people that wanted Taggart gone after 2 season and low and behold, a lot of those people are begging for him back. Funny how that works.

Scott Frost Nebraska record is worse than Taggarts record at FSU. Nebraska recruiting ranking for 2017 - #23, 2018 - #23, 2019 - #18 and they has had a top 25 recruiting class since 2017....they shouldn't be that bad.

Totally missing the point dude.  Corey cherry picked an analogy for Frost to prop up Strong.  I was pointing out another analogy that could be made between Frost and Strong that made Strong look bad .

I wasn't commenting on whether Frost should get an extension.  I don't care.

Charlie Strong has made us suck so bad that people are ecstatic that we losing close games now. Talk about lowering the bar. We are celebrating a mediocre defense that can't stop anybody on 3rd down or when it matters like they are the second coming of the 85 Bears. This **** is ridiculous.

My two cents. Charlie inherited a ranked team (11-2 the year before), under performed in year one, and failed to build on the momentum of Willie Taggart. That 2017 team was the strongest team we've had in our history with respect to our schedule. Strong is now knee deep in his own **** due to poor recruiting, some bad luck and his own lack of tolerance with the guys that were already in the program.

Scott Frost inherited a terrible 4-8 team that lost six of their last seven and beat no one of stature in 2017. He then lost his first six games while dealing with a bunch of malcontents in 2018. The scraped out a couple of wins to close out the year, however they are far from a finished product. If these two coaches are on an escalator, Frost is slowly going up while Strong is coming down.

Nebraska recruiting ranking for 2016 - #26, 2017 - #23, 2018 - #23, 2019 - #18 and they has had a top 25 recruiting class since 2016. I refuse to believe Nebraska is that bad.

Oh they are improved from last year and even since the beginning of the season, but when you say "we have one of the top defenses in the nation" that ruins any credibility you have on any topic.

“On any topic” lol at least you’re a mastermind with it.  Just like the fact that you were completely wrong with a number as well.

They’re top 50 and one of the top in our conference. There are more than 47 teams in the p5 yet with our limited resources we’re still able to outperform some of them.

Frost had one undefeated season.......and every other season as a head he has won 6 or less games. His total coaching record is 27-21. Frost is overrated
