My prior reasoning for wanting McCloud to start was his mobility. He has that to a degree but I was hoping he was faster and had more agility but that is not the case. He is also too tiny. Even with a decent line I question if he would ever last a full season without injury.

I don't think the mentality is there.  I knew when we fell behind by 2 scores it was practically done.  They would find ways to stall each drive.

we fell behind by 10 to temple and you never felt like we were in the game. doesn't take much for them to mentally quit. they get that from their coach.

The same was at Navy and GT until we made a QB change and was firing on all cylinders.  10 points is almost insurmountable.  

I think the defense is good enough to win games in this conference.  I think they would play with even more fire if the other side of the ball did.
