The guys who we will be depending upon all played over 23 minutes, so they are in shape. 

The intensity with which Q plays defense is astounding. You could almost feel the, "I'm getting a steal on this possession" in the air.

I spent some time watching just Dawson off the ball and liked what I saw. It's worth noting that he was playing injured (was stretching his legs while on the bench and was grimacing after some possessions).

I also saw him riding the bike on the sidelines so I believe he did have some issue

What are peoples thoughts on Williams?   He showed some flashes of being a stud but then other times looked very average.  I think if he was 6"8 or more he would be a dominant Power Forward

I like him. He has some skill and athleticism. Probably should have redshirted last year to develop and save the year of eligibility. He’s a kid who would have started on some of our previous teams. Shows you where we are under Coach Gregory.

Hadn't even thought about redshirting him but I'm sure they had their reasons for not doing that. I really liked him last year, too. Every time he came in seems to me he added juice. Still may be tough finding minutes year although starting last night may be good sign for him ......... just hopes he sticks, could be a key contributor down the line.
