Well maybe you need to learn your players and the rules. Cronkrite didn't come in through the portal.

Cronkrite is scared of contact and runs east west too much. Sands can consistently get the tough yards.

There was no portal when Cronkrite left UF.

I find it funny that you say he is afraid of contact. You obviously don’t pay attention to how he finishes runs but I’m sure you all do considering how many of you actually coach for a living.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves now. The run game showed improvements against UCONN. Nearly impossible to draw any meaningful conclusions from that.

And no touchdowns.

Sands has 9.1 yards per carry and a touchdown.

Joiner would have had more if he would have gotten more carries.

All three can be effective in their own way and we will need all three to have any possibility  of success.

It does seem like running 2 TEs with Wilcox focused on blocking is the way to go moving forward. Wilcox is a reliable and highly competent guy, and he beefs up the struggling oline, which seems to have been a significant factor in getting the run game going yesterday. Mathis has been playing very well at the other TE slot, enough so that it seems logical to primarily have Mitchell blocking.

That and I think they made some starting changes on the offensive line...

Cronk is the #1

Sands should be the second option but id like to to see ihim spell Cronk a few series a game. His style is a nice contrast to Cronk

Joiner should be a change in of pace behind those two.

Each back brings something different. Cronk is the most complete back but Sands and Joiner brings good things to the table.

Dalvin Cook didn't have any rushing TDs today, either. Bench his ass.
