Mims finished with a career-high six tackles (five solo). Sophomore S Nick Roberts returned his first interception of the season (fourth of his career) 62 yards on the opening drive of the second half. Senior DE Darius Slade posted his first sack as a Bull in the second quarter. Sophomore DB Bentlee Sanders’ first career sack resulted in a forced fumble recovered by Kirk Livingstone that helped set up a touchdown in the second quarter. Senior S Devin Studstill recovered his first fumble as a Bull in the end zone in the second quarter. Junior DB Brock Nichols registered the first interception of his USF career. Sophomore DB Vincent Davis intercepted the first pass of his career. Pretty close, CBS has us at #94 but I'm pretty sure we'd have been over the century mark before Saturday. We had a stellar defensive game for turnovers, so our stats got a big boost from Saturday courtesy of FCS. I hope they can keep near those stats into the conference season!
