Umm, you’ve got one right now. Charlie living next to Plant doesn’t hurt, and getting a high flying offense should help too.

We've been recruiting QB's there for YEARS before getting McCloud.   It has been an issue since loooooooong before CCS got here.

The last one I can think of that you would have wanted would have been Phillip Ely, and he went to Alabama. After him was Colby Brown, then Rex Culpepper, then Dane Frantzen, then Jordan McCloud.

I'd gladly take the kid as a walk on.   Just not a scholly, gotta earn that and we are going to be hard after a QB this cycle that Bell gets to hand pick.

Just to extend the discussion a bit.  Don't we grant scholarships?  The kids that come in as Fr haven't done anything at USF to earn one. The kid in question from VS has won a national title.  I wouldn't have a problem with granting him a scholarship.  I know this is all hypothetical and he isn't likely coming here.

So apparently I was wrong. I stand corrected.

You'll get used to it.

Fine, I concede. There is no way Wells would want to come to USF. We shouldn't even discuss the possibility.

Just curious. Has this kid mentioned transferring, or anybody anywhere mentioned this kid transferring except here on theBullsPen?

1. Linemen don’t get lined up correctly

2. Offsides is pretty common as offense gets too focused on scoring and loses focus.

All of these happend during CWT era...not all the time but enough to notice.

and the NFL playoffs last weekend...

No. It was just a hypothetical situation I brought up for discussion.

He's proven as much as this level as those kids, who've actually earned multiple FBS offers

Marve was the first one that did anything. Who did you want before that, Jason Sequin?
