A USF bowl game = more USF football.  Playing in a great facility.  Don't have to pay to travel. Can get friends to go bowling for a change.  Don't have to go to Birmingham again.

Playing in Tampa is way better than the Cure. The AAC may not want us to get rolled by a P5 but do they want us to get rolled by Troy???

Well now, in terms of the USF program overall after losing 5 straight a loss to a lower tier program would be insult on injury. Ok maybe "devastating" is too too strong for the fainthearted but, it would suck the big banana as far as recruiting and team self-esteem not to mention...the naysayers/village burners will be tearing up the posts with hate speak...fire your mama chants.  So, to me yep...a loss would be pretty "traumatic" (there that's softer0..and have ripple effects. So the easy answer is..just win the **** bowl game..

I have less faith than you that any of this will stop because we beat Louisiana-Monroe in the Boca Bowl by 3 points.
