Exactly. I don't think this is as radical as other fart noises like JK make it out to be. Given the trajectory of the team and the proven failures in playcalling and in-game adjustments from the coaching staff, if you have a window to get rid of a coach you didn't even hire, and for cheap, and then build on those savings buy signing someone better who can perform better with a clean slate and millions in saved-salary every year for Athletics, who could blame you?

We should have seen this coming after his introductory presser talking about slowing down the offense.  Well Charlie you got what you wanted a slower offense.   Almost to the point of going in reverse.

Ugh...I remember that so well. Yeah, bad start and the first of many bad pressers. Dude gives the worst press conferences in the history of USF. He answers a question and I say...”what?”
