If they keep in him, no doubt.

I don’t think they do if he clips 100. And most of all we must a) respect our opponent, b) not play to the competition of our opponent. Strong will let him have his moment but he gets the hook soon in this game.

Nothing wrong with that. Hate to see him take a hard shot while we are up by many points. Maybe Bell will be back this week too.

I think Uconn focus 100% on stopping the run this game that said I think Cronk still gets 100-150 yards.

UConn's secondary is terrible. We should see another Elon-type performance from Blake and the receivers... if Blake can avoid the pressure. I think Cronk will break a couple long ones and be in the 100-150 range, but I think most of what we will see is 1-3 yard runs.

I think Barnett has his best game in weeks and we won't have to rely on the run as much. Cronk still breaks a few and gets 150+.

You might as well be asking for the nuclear launch codes...

Unless for some reason they must keep him in, I can envision Cronk getting somewhere past 100 yards and then taking the rest of the game off. This assumes we have a comfortable lead. CCS is on board with making sure Cronk gets his yards. It is also possible that he does not quite get that many yards but is limited to 20-25 carries. That is about his average for the entire game typically though they tend to pass more in this years games in the later stages. If he breaks a couple of long ones early on and gets past the 150 threshold-- he might get some more carries. I think CCS will use him in a way that both helps the team as well as Cronk. CCS is aware of stats, records and the need for certain players for the long haul. He says as much in the press conference after games (and good for him to have this in mind as it is done so to help some players gets the stats needed for the NFL attention). If UConn subs heavily in the second half as they have intimated, no need for CCS to keep all of our best guys playing other than to meet some team goals - which works great for USF as they will have the full active squad to work with as the home team.

Initially I picked under 100 yards but bumped that to just under 150 mostly from the points above.

Remember how we just discovered that the Duke guy was suspended but it was never mentioned?  Hmmmmm.
