This thread is dumb.  Just plain ole dumb.  The offensive line played like crap for 85% of the game.  Barnett was up and down... but we also were playing without several guys and it happens.  ODU beat Va Tech... quite a few teams being bitten, but we've been resilient.  I think once we get back from the bi-week, we'll be ready to make a good run leading up into Houston.  The offense didn't get worse, These are growing pains.  We had them early last year too.  But it's cool knowing that the Defense can win a game when we need it to. What I got from this game is we're far from a perfect team, but right now... we're a perfect team  4-0.

And you think a guy who once ran for negative yards IN A SEASON is the answer because of his running ability? I was giving you the benefit of the doubt saying it was a troll job.

I don’t think this guy is trolling and I don’t think he’s completely off base either. I believe it was a legitimate topic of conversation.

I am not condoning a change at QB, but I’m certainly willing to acknowledge some fairly obvious chinks in BBs armor.

Lets not forget BB has bounced around a bit. It’s one thing to get beat out at Alabama. It’s another thing to get beat out at ASU. He’s clearly not played at the level of a 5-Star recruit.

That all said, here at USF, I think a lot of the less than stellar play can be attributed to subpar play calling and O-Line play.

No need to make personal attack’s on the OP.

I disagree with the claim that we have another QB on the roster that gives us a better chance to win right now.

Where did he claim that? Looks to me like he was just questioning some of BB's play last night..... as were some people around me with some of the throws .... and throwing out there IF CO may be better suited with the OL line play as it was. Personally, I don't think it's something to even remotely worry about at this point but it's not like questioning our starting qb isn't a staple of this board.

If you think we should change QBs, than you believe we have someone who gives us a better chance to win. Or at least that’s how I interpret it.

I saw question marks rather than declarations but I guess I can see how you can interpret that .... bottom line, though, is you probably shouldn't be entertaining the thought of wanting to see IF someone else gives us a better chance to win until we actually lose .... but we do know how the TBP rolls.

Just for apples to apples comparison Blake is on pace to match Flowers passing numbers from last year and half of his run production.

If you would’ve started this topic by saying, “**** I wish we still had QF”, then this would apply. This doesn’t prove that there’s a more effective QB than B.B. on this roster

Well he definitely is not the world beater that many of us thought he was going to be after the first few games. We will have to see. If he struggles against a Umass defense then we have a problem...(taking into consideration that o line needs to improve considerably).

What stat line were you thinking he’d put up this year? 3000 yards and 25 TDs would be on the high end of what I was dreaming he’d do for us.

I said that in a long ago thread 3k. A few more of last night clunkers that will be hard to do. Obviously he is not to blame entirely but this offense has to be able to run/block for him to be effective (of course that’s true of 99% of QBs).

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
