I think uconn, umass, Tulsa, temple, and tulane are all certain wins.

Cincinnati is a 75% chance of a win

Ucf and Houston are toss ups.

This puts us at about 11-1 or more likely 10-2

There are no certain wins.  Just ask Virginia Tech

The low end, I think we will make a bowl. 6 wins total, that's pretty much guaranteed.

The high end, 9-3.

Cincy lucked out vs Ohio. They don't impress me.

Temple does not impress me at all.

Houston struggled against Rice, got blown out badly last week.

When I watch UCF, looks like they have been winning due to having bigger and better athletes so far.

I see either 10-2 or 11-1.

I think it comes down to UCF game again.

Uh Cincy/Temple will be looking at us and thinking same thing. We've hardly been setting the world alight.

Think we lose to one of Cinci/Temple. Lose to Houston but BEAT UCF!

10-2

I think ECU is better than we are giving them credit for. Yes, they lost to NCAT, but they beat a UNC team that is currently undefeated in ACC play. UNC beat Pitt this week, who beat our familiar foe GA Tech. So all in all, I think ECU is a decent team this year.

That being said, we have played horrible in 7 out of our last 8 quarters. If we can turn that around and start playing like our 4th quarters against GA tech and illinois, we could win 11 or 12 games. If we keep playing to the level of our competition, we will win 8 to 9 games, with losses against Houston, Cincy, and UCF.

The only speed bumps I see are Houston and our good friends down the street. 10-2. My original assessment was 9-3, but GT was a win, so ...

Sounds like we need to go 7-0 just to finish 8-4...that's sucks...I'm going to buckle the chin strap on my beer helmet sounds like we're in for another disappointing November.

I hate to say this but the game Saturday  reminded me of the year we started 4-0 and finished 5-7...good thing we have a weak SOS.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
