By beating storied programs like Auburn, WVU, FSU, etc. If we wish to go back to that we need programs like these to play and BEAT! FAU isn't a storied program. Come on people. Do we need to have a I have a dream speech? 1

Playing the best of the best is how you get noticed and if we lose, so what, we still have the conference championship to play for. It is a win win to play a blue blood type program(unless injuries). We have no shot for the CFP, as seen from a 13-0 team from last year. As long as we are the G5, nobody will take us seriously. If the hope is to look good for the next conference expansion, I think USF’s record the last 35 games speaks for itself. Wisconsin should be ranked pretty high in 2019 and BYU could also be ranked. Adding another highly rated program would enhance our Strength of Schedule, which is the biggest factor a G5 school will face in regard to the playoff.

Minnesota 2. Nebraska 3. Baylor 4. Kansas 5. Iowa State 6. Kansas State 7. Rutgers 8. Northwestern 9. Purdue All of these schools have a full board of 12 games for 2019. The Big Ten and Big 12 play 9 game conference schedules, so only 3 OOC slots are available every year. https://fbschedules.com/future-college-football-schedules/ Most P5 teams have a full schedule for 2019, so barring any cancellations the following teams have open dates. Louisiana-Lafayette, UTSA, UAB, FAU, FIU, and of course the FCS schools. Edited September 19, 2018 by bull2saintleo

It is practically, USF's 2nd home. Not saying I would be excited about UAB but Legion Field seems to like USF. 2003 L 40-17 Alabama 2004 W 45-20 UAB 2006 W 24-7 ECU 2016 W 46-39 South Carolina 2017 W 38-34 Texas Tech

It was easily 1000 degrees and guys were dropping like flies, their back up flies were way better than our backups.
