Kinda pre-mature to call it not a real thing since contracts have not been re negotiated yet. If the next go around they do not improve then that would be correct.

The first contract didn’t matter? It’s nothing short of shocking how big the divide is.  It needs to go up exponentially just to catch up. If we doubled our tv money and then doubled it again then doubled it again and then doubled it again we would still be 9x our current yearly payout away from the Big10. It’s not premature it’s just the way it is things will never be the same.

The P6 is nothing more than a silly slogan it’s not a real thing so says the money, power and access which all has the AAC firmly in the G5 even if it’s teams spend like he P6 is a real thing.

Are we not #6 as a conference? Did MWC pass us in $?

We are #6, but not P6. Big 12 revenue is 364mil, AAC 74mil(down 6%), TV revenue: Big 12 200mil/season vs AAC 20mil/season. These numbers show that we are nowhere close to a Power conference. Our best bet is Fox Sports or CBS Sports or YouTube Tv, but they'll only pay a max of 80mil/season, that's only 154mil for AAC, dude, there's no chance to be a P6 conference. Our only chance is being part of an expansion.

Being in 6th place doesn’t necessarily translate to that being a power position when 6th place looks exactly like those behind you and noting like those ahead of you. Can we rightly claim we are in 6th place as a conference? Sure. Is that a power position or something to be celebrated? Clearly not.

So we're exactly where we're supposed to be as a conference with whatever letter/number combination you want.

Yes, which equates to no respect or playoff chance.

By the middle of his second season CCS will have passed CSH and will have a chance at having as many victories as CWT by the end of the season. So after two seasons it’s conceivable that he could be the second winningest coach in USF history and he is already only the second coach in our history with a winning record. We also just won a game that our last two 💩 coaches would lose 100 times out of 100 even if they were spotted the 11 points we won by, if we can’t be optimistic right now when can we?

This has me trying to come up with Taggart's best win in his time here. He did beat a ranked Temple team. Can anyone think of a better win? BTW, You can argue that Taggart beating a ranked Temple team was a bigger deal than our win over GT this past week, although I don't necessarily feel that way. GT was unranked, and if I'm not mistaken, they didn't have any votes at all in the AP Top 25...

Yes, but power before the number means access and money when used in the instance of P5. In the instance of P6 it means no money and no power but the best of the G5 and situated exactly like the rest of them. Six is accurate but the P over the G is intentionally misleading and inaccurate, being 6th means you get no P.

Someone in another thread did the legwork for me on this when I mentioned that the next xCWT win over a ranked team will be his first. Temple and Navy were both ranked when we played them and won.

And the more money you have, the more P you get.
