I wonder if he will break out voodoo 5 for old times sake?

I remember he sat with a group of us at Beef O'Brady's on Fowler while the team watched a C-USA game in another room hoping that (I believe-someone help me here) UConn would win the game so we would get our first bowl invitation.  He was a good guy, Voodoo 5 notwithstanding.

I think it was ECU that we needed to win-- pretty sure I was there too. Very last game of the season and an ECU win would mean CUSA wouldn't have enough bowl eligible teams and let us slide into the spot with a 9-2 record. 9-2 and we didn't get a bowl bid. Ridiculous.

It was one of those teams at the bottom of the schedule....

can't recall the specifics though

does @WoolyBully still hang around the board any more? Haven't seen him here this season- but he was at this event as well along with a bunch of us Bull Backers.

He doesn't post as frequently, but I think he's still around.  We definitely need to get together again.

Voodoo 5. The greatest offensive play call in our brief USF football history

Yes, Wooly is still here. I'm generally working covert intercept operations, so I do more gathering than publishing.

I remember the Beef O'Brady's evening. Wanting ECU to win, sending us to our first bowl game. But Noooooooooooo...one simple task, Pirates, and you can't even do that. Aaarrggh!

Hope he doesn't since he only calls that at the goal line.

I think most importantly, he was on the sidelines for WVU when we beat them in 2007.  He had Snow White and the running back Slaton and the Bulls' physical play had them running back to the hills.

Careful @WoolyBully, don't blow cover.

I was somewhere watching that BS, but I thought it was Selmon's ... were they open back then?
