No, it was comprised of many goals, and a billion was more than the original goal.

So then a goal to raise X dollars for something(s) is attainable if we want to put the effort in?

Yes,  but only if their are enough people interested in funding a specific cause.   

IMO, the reason there has not been an OCS campaign is that the AD has not been able to secure a major donation(s) to kick start it.   They know enough to not set themselves up for failure, and embarrass the University.

I contributed to a number of those other causes, but will not be donating one dime to an OCS fundraiser.
