Upshot: Strong is #32 and Taggart is #35. Ho-hum. Nothing to see here.

Strong has been a coach longer and had a decent amount of success at Louisville, Is 63-39 overall, and has appeared in 7 bowls, winning 4 of them. Taggart has appeared in 1 bowl and has an overall losing record. Revisit this in a few years. I like Taggart but this isn’t that shocking.

Not surprising since CCS has a far superior resume.  The fact that CWT is so close really speaks to how the author feels about him as a coach.  I love CWT and feel he has a ton of potential but it's a little crazy he's that close to CCS on that list.

I don't agree.

Strong took better jobs and did okay(at UL). Willie took on projects and built them up. Based on last year I would put Willie over Strong, but I think it is close.

How did CCS do at Texas?  How did he do in the Big12.

If I’m not mistaken, he holds the record for the lowest winning percentage of any football coach ever at UT.
