What year did Houston hit #5 in the CFP rankings?

I'd stop there since the rest is what you do with it.

I do like the idea of sellouts, increased donations, etc.  But I think that to would come.  So much depends on #1

Assuming we don't get a P5 invite....

1) Conference Championship in football and winning an NY6 bowl

2) Conference Championship in Women's Basketball (Overcoming UConn)

3) Men's Basketball getting back to the tourney

4) IPF coming to fruition

5) Continue to grow attendance

 

Assuming we do get a P5 invite....

1) Winning the ACC/Big12, and making it to the playoffs (this obviously would take time)

2) OCS/Top notch facilities (more doable with P5 money rolling in)

3) Consistent top 20 recruiting classes (Football)

4) Men's Basketball consistently reaching the tourney

5) Packing RayJay, and having the type of atmosphere we had in the WVU game of 2007 on a somewhat regular basis.

Permanent equality to UF and FSU in terms of state academic funding

$100 billion endowment

P64 membership, with an equal slice of the TV revenue pie

Fan support to sell out every game for every sport, and to create P64-level merchandise sales

Additional teams, like swimming and diving - if Stanford has it, we want it.

Not gonna list 5 because I’d just be restating what everyone has already posted.

At very minimum, it would be nice if we could finally win a “must win” game in any sport.  Seems like we can have fantastic seasons with big wins, but we always choke when everything is on the line.

OK, now this isn't realistic, but here we go:

1. SEC membership

2. Football National Championship

3. MBB National Championship

4. WBB National Championship

5. $1,000,000,000 donation (that is billion with a b)

and if there is enough magic left for one more: I'd like UF to be our closes Division I rival (measured geographically, which means that all we need is a school in Orlando to lose their division I status).

We are $500 mil away from that $1bil endowment.
