Assume UCF is not our rival? Then who is? To say no one is pretty sad. To say ECU is about just as sad. Temple maybe one day but not yet. WVU? Ville? They are long gone.

The bullet points from puc were regarding my comment " I don't think anyone here is saying UCF didn't benefit greatly, " .... The rival thing is separate, with more components.

Still some hard feelings about the UCF rival thing. 

Older folks would remember, and younger folks would scoff, but for a while there we felt we were building good rivalries vs. UL and vs. WVU.  In those wonderful days, some people bitched that we couldn’t develop a rivalry with those great programs because they weren’t close enough to Fowler, geographically speaking.
