I dislike UCF also, but all of you acting like they were not #1, 2, or 3rd best team in the country sound like you're just upset because they were better than us.  All things considered, they absolutely have a claim to be national champs. They were undefeated, and beat the team that beat the recognized national champs.

Weren't they the only team in the country to do that?  I don't love that school over there but they had a great year and can claim what they want.

You could have claimed it that year.  But like UCF, if you didn't win any games the year before you could/should not have made such claim.

They had a great season and I think because they were undefeated, they should have been included in the playoff, but at no time did I think they were the best team in the country.

They were not the #1, #2, or #3 team in the country AND I'm upset they were better than us. One has nothing to do with the other.

They absolutely can claim whatever they want, no matter how ridiculous it sounds .... but when other people start calling them a top 3 team, with nothing really to back that up except going undefeated with one of the lowest rated schedules of a top 25 program and a win in a virtually meaningless game between teams going in on the opposite end of the emotional spectrum, all you can really do is sit back and laugh.

I'lll just say this... having a really good team coming back does not mean that team  will be the same under a new coach.  We just went through that.  UCF's players will have to adjust to a new system and a new coaching philosophy.  The will not be the same team they were last season, even with Milton and company coming back.  I could see them having some of the exact same struggles we had last season.  I don't really a problem with where they have them... it's wait and see.
