I found myself being rather negative of late, so I'm flipping the switch on myself. Here goes!

(1) Stability: I think when it's all said and done, this season will be more stable than last season without the coaching changes. This is good for the program

(2) Financially: I think money-wise, USF made out pretty good because if Texas, and because of the conference distributions -no matter what team goes where for bowls.

(3) P5 improvements: I think being ranked this year, getting a lot of press, and playing a good game with ucf on national TV helped our P5 cause down the road.

(4) Flowers: He got to showcase his stuff during the ucf game. I'm so happy for him. The NFL will definitely look at him more closely after that performance (for whatever position in the NFL).

(5) Winning record and bowl game: can't sneeze at that. We had neither for a while there. And it's not like we are playing FAU or something. A P5 school is a good game for us. And the seniors can be proud of their accomplishments and enjoy their bowl trip.

(6) Recruiting: With coaching stability, the recruiting will be solid.

We survived a hurricane and the defense didn’t end up in the 100’s. That’s all I got.

1.              We have great recruits and talent on our team.

2.              We have a solid coaching staff

3.              If we win our bowl game, we will have a 2nd consecutive 10 win season and should start the year oiff as ranks

4.              Brett Kean…. mark my words, he shall lead us to the promise land.

5.              Our defense went from being ranked in the 100s to #28. That was our BIGGEST weakness and Charlie fixed it.

6.              Salmon, Cronkite, McCants will be back next year

7.              Charlie Strong and staff will still be here

8.              USF no longer sucks

You can add the potential of finishing the season ranked.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic. I went to one game, along with about 14 other people, and the games that I watched on TV were about just as empty. Sorry if I missed the joke.

Let’s face it- as a non P5 school, back to back top 25, double digit win seasons is not easy. Winning the bowl game would put a cherry on a solid (albeit disappointing) year
