I expect the same, but for once, we need to take advantage and step up.  Seems like central takes steps back all the time but they still manage to rebuild a conference championship team within a year or two.  And we sit here and wonder wtf just happened.

Two things broke their way: Frost and Bortles. Their success in the American is traced to those two. We need a break like that. Strong, IMO, is not the answer.

Also, we keep losing the games we HAVE to win. Last year it was Temple. This year UCF. Just bad luck and losing the only game we couldn’t afford to.

We need a coach with the attitude that 2nd place is just first loser and won’t accept anything other than 1st.

This was more in-jest, since I hail from the great commonwealth of Massachusetts (though Western Mass on the NY Line, where I grew-up a Yankee fan and still despise the Sox to this day)

I get it. Here in NH everyone is a Sox fan but the passion is not what it once wass since they broke through with those titles.

We had Flowers and Mack last year. That should have been enough. But we lost a decent d cord and it killed us.

Yep. If only we could pair this year’s D with last year’s offense......USiF

We need throw the "package deal" thing around as much as possible, because if only one of us are picked during the next round of conference expansion, the outcome will be one that we won't like....

It just doesn't make any sense for the Big 12 to take only one team from Florida. It will be both of us or none.

Although I agree that they're the better program at this point in time, what opportunity to leave them in the dust did we miss?

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
