Let me rephrase, I think this is all the offensive coaching staff has. also, Gilbert is the only OC in USF history who would not have called a QB run on the last two plays before the FG at the end of the game. I also think the coaching staff puts too much on the defense meaning they go into "run up the middle" mode as soon as they go up a score. He was touted as an up-tempo Briles type offensive guru. He took a potent offense and made it vanilla.
