Maybe not, but man this was terrible play calling...I've given the OC the benefit of the doubt all year, but tonight the play calling on 1st Down was atrocious.  When you lose yards on every 1st Down call throughout the 1st Qtr and refuse to make changes (meaning throw the **** ball) its a big problem.  Could we have won even with the terrible play calling...yes, but that is not the point.  It was so bad I was screaming for just a frickin' pass on 1st throughout the last 3 Qtrs.  Bad

He was told not to run as much and to slide before any contact when he does run. That’s what I was told tonight.

Yes.  Last year, he would pick up 5 yards on broken plays.  Tonight, he showed a lot of hesitation of just taking off on several plays where everyone was covered downfield.

Career-high 38 attempts for Flowers tonight.  That stat was a bit surprising to me.  I think the biggest issue with Gilbert is his offense is too basic.  Very few screens, reverses, and misdirection.

From what I was told tonight they want him to be conservative with the ball, and not run as much and take hits. They are afraid he will get hurt.

Not throwing the ball over the middle at all has hurt a lot also. We haven’t used the TE or rb enough in pass plays.
