So, fair point to the argument. I personally thought we’d drop off a little bit, but I think play calling has been a bigger factor.

Bridgwater and Clint Hurt were the main reasons for success at Louisville. Time will tell... Even with the loss of Mack and Adams I think we have more talent than any team in the conference except maybe UCF now.

Hurtful but fair point. Maybe O'Leary's booze was magical that night.

Based on what I've seen, I believe we have enough talent to still be undefeated and winning handily over our schedule. Yeah, we lost Mack and Adams, but we rolled over DJ, MVS and McCants ... Antoine has been solid and Salomon, although a bit hit-or-miss at times has added some ability. I agree this staff is not utilizing the talent based on their abilities. I could easily see MVS as a jet sweep or bubble screen guy, similar to what Adams was last year. We don't have another Mack on the roster, so he has thus far been irreplaceable. But there is plenty of tape on DJ being a weapon out of the backfield, but it's like the staff never watched a second of tape from the 2016 season. If they had done that, they would have to be idiots not to form their offense to fit that. Coaches aren't really coaching if they pigeonhole players into their pre-determined mold. Those are just system playcallers. Coaching is when you mine the talent and get the most out of what the player does best. Our football staff just isn't doing hat.
