Scott vetoed a bill that had a minuscule provision in it that would have harmed USF. He did absolutely nothing to deliberately help us. Rick Scott doesn't give a **** about USF.

I am no fan of Scott, but I'm objective enough to realize he sometimes does make the right decisions. That was one. He slapped down that piece of trash bill that was bad for a lot more than USF.

ucf sure getting a lot of pub.  Wonder if recruits see this.  They certainly capitalized on the opportunities they were presented with.

Well they destroyed Baylor in the Fiesta Bowl before Frost. So it looks like as a program they are doing something right to capitalize on their opportunities.

Ya they did. They also have conference championships. We have none. We haven't gone 0-fer but we've had some very very bad seasons and we don't have the championships to balance them out. They are clearly the program that makes the most of their opportunities at this point while we throw our prosperity away whenever we can.

They took a chance on Frost and it paid big. We took less of a chance with Skip (he was "proven") and it shriveled. Since then we've worked back to winning seasons and bowl games, which is more than a lot of teams can say. What they did this year is admirable, but we won 10 games and came close to beating them, so I think our prosperity is just fine.

I can agree we don't have championships--that sucks and it's definitely elusive, but it's not like we're never in the conversation.

Since then:

2014: 9-4

2015: 0-12

2016: 6-7

2017: 13-0

As a program, they're doing some things wrong. If you think the program is responsible for 13-0, the program is also responsible for 0-12.
