The Vinik / USFAA marriage is already working.  Do you think the release of this study is coincidence?

USF football is coming off its best season in history and has a chance to follow that up with its best season in history.

Couple that with a high-profile HC hiring and a dark horse Heisman candidate and man oh man a better script cannot be written for an OCS study.  A fever pitch for football and we are two weeks out.  I love it!

The realistic piece of this is $$.  A 1/4 billion dollars for a football stadium.  Wow!

Go Bulls!

I'm excited... But also, really concerned about the price tag.

USF is approaching this the right way. They are taking the time to do their study, and do some due diligence on this OCS. I have every confidence they will be just as deliberate when trying to finance the stadium too.

We're taking a completely different approach than Mickey Mouse U. They threw up a shoddy aluminum stadium and just dumped cash at it. Their lack of forethought into the project showed. They didn't even have water fountains! USF can do this better.

Unless we plan on playing night games 90% of the time, where is the shade?

Don't we already play most of our games at night anyway?

For starters, as Colin mentioned, this is basically a rough draft or place holder until this thing gets real legs. Secondly what kind of shade are you looking for? Rajay doesn't have any shade either during a noon kickoff.
