You can use the Texas tapes to see what we're doing but with different guys and strengths, that wont give you an indication on what you're facing. I'm also willing to bet there are a ton of wrinkles in this offense... Also looking at the Texas games from last season... some of you may be shocked to see a jet sweep. I don't think the offense will really be an issue, this offense averaged 35 points a game with pupps running it at UT in the first year it was installed. I think the biggest difference will be on the defensive side of the ball. I don't think we'll be giving up 25 plus points a game. This is a really good team and is poised to run the table.

Which is crazy insane and insane crazy for a brand new staff to walk into those expectations. Still think Taggart leaving when he did was a blessing in disguise. Strong is going to kill it. Remember even if the offense takes a step back, if the defense takes a step forward it'll even itself out. I'm trying not to psych myself out here since everyone will have a bullseye on USF and anything goes, but man does the schedule line up nicely. It's hard enough for a three loss B1G champ to make the playoffs as is; ask Penn State. If a three loss team makes the playoffs it's time to get rid of the playoffs all together. That said yes a three loss OSU makes the playoffs before a G5 school. Edited April 20, 2017 by 206BULL
