Nah, let it ride cj... BJM is much much more experienced as a college assistant coach than Woodie, period. He had been coaching college ball for ten years when Woodie got in to the college coaching game. He has been coaching LB's for 13 years in P5 conferences. He has been a part of actual championship defenses at Louisville and Ga Tech. He has worked under really well respected DC's John Tenuta and Dave Wommack, not to mention coach Strong. Texas was rough for all these guys but he's got a great resume.

Recruiting to Texas is different than recruiting to USF. We will see about all these hires but the circumstances have changed for some of these guys.

While there is some validity in the comparison, I think football recruiting is a lot more about ongoing relationships with hs coaches and contacts than basketball and this is where a top football recruiter may translate better when coming here. Biggest obstacle, though, will still be the P5 to G5 drop ... which is pretty comparable to hoops version, the UK to USF drop.

Do you really hate to do it again, or is it just a figure of speech?

Not a **** thing worth talking about. We had 11 wins and we beat a crappy SEC team. Change is necessary for us to take that next step in my opinion. Very thankful for TJ though

Yes, agree, proficiency in recruiting TX does not equate to proficiency in FL. Like you said, we'll see but he does seem to have a high focus on the players, both before & after recruiting. Hopefully it translates, and CCS will help him acclimate.
