I think he is one of the best players we have had and I think we will miss his speed and playmaking. I would think some NFL team could use that ability.

If he doesn't get invited he'll run at our pro-day so we'll find out just how fast, "fast" is one way or another.  4.4 guys have that extra gear where they just pull away form everybody else on the field and Rodney showed that this season, even against FSU.  He looks like a 4.4 guy to me but I'm just speculating like everybody else aside from Adams and the USF staff and strength/speed coaches.

4.4 is so fast people don't even realize it and like to throw the number around. 4.4 is legit top end speed. Not, "Wow, that guy on our team is super fast," but All-Pro NFL speed. I want to believe Adams is that fast, but if he is, he's running faster than all 38 guys on this list and the fastest draft prospect going to the combine this year.

22 WRs have cracked 4.40 in the combine the previous 5 years. Is Adams that fast that he's in the top 25 WRs for speed in the entire draft process in the past 5 years?

Looks like he'll be at the combine. Good luck to him.

Bet this thread doesn't get to 87 pages in support of Rod.

Unless he plays another game between now and the combine, I think we're out of things to discuss.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
