Why are AAC teams doing so poorly in bowl games?

Losing a coach is demoralizing to a team. I don't think we will be immune either. I anticipate us being off of our game.....

Being ranked is great and all but it also puts a target on your back.. even in the postseason. 

I could be wrong, but I don't think we'll have a ranked number next to our name on Thursday since we aren't ranked in the playoff rankings and we will be on ESPN.

Bowl games are revealing how weak the conference is. Looks like rankings were correct all along.

So before the bowl games, I thought we were either the 5th or the 6th best conference. Nothing has changed.

So the AAC plays an entire season and produces the best record of G5 teams beating P5 teams (and is actually good over a three year span). Then teams lose one game in a meaningless bowl and all of a sudden our conference is weak compared to other G5 conferences? Sorry I am not buying it.

Disappointing for sure. I did think Temple & Navy would fare a lot better. Really hoping Thursday will reflect well on our guys' mental strength, need a big game from our D.

According to the little crawl on the bottom of ESPN, no there is no number by our name.
