Really this. If he blew off Tennessee, only parents that don't know his history would think he won't bail on the Owls.

Still, it's a good move for sure. He has to be unconventional to get some foundational players at FAU, and I think he'll have a little success.

It will if they win.  What do they have to lose there?  For FAU that is a home run hire.  Two offensive minds, in a state/area surrounded by athletes (even the "scraps" leftover are good).  They took a chance on lane, then on a talented qb and now an OC.  Could build a conference contender as win 7-8 games quick.

It will be interesting to see what happens with this experiment. The downside is FAU could end up in probation and everybody gets fired. The upside is they cook up something pretty good before they jump ship.
