Doesn't say how much he's donating per ticket but still like it.

He's going to be more of a recruiting threat than most realize. He's already using social media with FAU promos to try to reach out to the recruits 'ball by the beach'

I expect Lane will be more of a recruiting thread than a threat. He may excite players that are considering comparable schools and programs but the gulf between FAU football and the current UF/FSU/UM/USF/UCF programs is vast.

I think he will recruit the same way USF has always recruited.  Come here and be part of building something.  Pretty sure FAU beat USF a couple of years ago.  And they almost beat us years ago down at their place.  Don't remember which running back it was for us but he saved our sorry butts down there.  Pretty sure that was in the Leavitt years - not the Skip years.

Looked back and it was actually 2007, the week after the big WV win at home and it was Ben Williams.

And the loss to FAU was the Taggart years, 2013, although every loss he endured was blamed on Holtz.

I think Kiffin will have an impact.

Remember, CUSA allows non-AQ players.  In addition, FAU will probably also recruit players that have been dismissed/left other top programs that USF wouldn't touch (ex: De'Andre Johnson.)

In other words, Marshall but with a (much?) higher ceiling
