50/50 chance we sign Strong, though there's a 10% chance of that.

Close but incorrect. He will be co-coach with Taggart and they will operate under the moniker "Strong Willie"

We will hire coach Allen back. He will become co-coach with Raymomd Woodie and together they will be: Woodie Allen.

This message board has gone off the rails...I can't tell if we're HAPPY or SAD at this whole situation lmao.

GO BULLS!!!

I mean I guess anything over 50% is saying you believe he's going to sign. But if I we're to measure my own sense of doubt/anxiety at the prospect of him not signing on the dotted line,  I'd put my odds at 60/40. 60% sure he will sign with a 40% chance he doesn't. There you have it...That's just how I feel.

No idea and frustrated.

I believe we are 100% in on Strong.

We are not even sure if Strong is in town. Can't believe he would not have been spotted or it would not have leaked yet.

Maybe the silence is a good thing.

Strong will be like Larry Coker at UTSA, washed up and past his prime.

Before noon on Saturday, it's 70% (based on the fact that he came to Tampa to interview).

If it goes past 3:00pm on Saturday, I don't think it will happen. Drops down to 18%

I would like to think that USF offered him a back loaded deal with Texas footing the bill til his severance ends. Texas probably will litigate to get out of it. Does he have confidence in taking the position that any new salary satisfies the terms of his Texas contract? If I were him, I would think Texas is out to screw me regardless of what my new deal looks like (this is going to be an issue wherever he goes looking for a new job), so with that assumption, I go ahead and tell them FU pay me and sign the USF deal.
