If that's the case then USF is just going to have to pay him market value for every year of the deal. However, I would love to pay him $1 per year for the next two years. To an extent yes, but, he can also sit at home doing nothing and they have to pay him. Even under a back-loaded contract, they get out of some of that liability. Again, he could just say... you know what... I will take 2 years off and Texas has to pay him every dime. Anyone hiring Strong is a favor to them. Texas made the big 12 into the mess that it is, and they drag us through this pony circus with expansion presentations, now they are interfering with our coaching hire?
