Ok, but Holtz is having success. If Zook, Weis and Tuberville got 2nd and 3rd chances, than why can't strong get a 2nd chance?

he can just not here.

Most of you guys know that I went to UF and will always be a Gator, but somehow became a hardcore USF fan. When I went to UF and after my graduation, Charlie Strong was the heart of our many successful teams. I actually wanted him to be the UF coach but they kept hiring other coaches instead of him. He was so good that the new coaches always kept him as the defensive coordinator. I pray USF hired him. We can keep TJ Weist as our official offensive coordinator and let him call the plays. And let Charlie Strong be the head coach and call the defensive plays. I kind of like having a coach that values ethics and hard work. The baymade/baystayed slogan does not have to die with Taggart b/c well these players are still from the bay and so is this school. Western Kentucky is flourishing now and be mad at Taggart all you want, but he left us a good recruiting class and in a better shape than we were before. USF football shall succeed regardless. I wish Taggart the best.

I'm on board with Strong

Trading a Willie and a Woodie for a Charlie seems like a good deal.

Do we even know if Strong is interested in the gig?

Heard he wanted to sit out a year before jumping back in.

If he ever wants to come back and make the jump to the Texas' of the world again this may be his best chance. He knows FL and the roster is prime for success, I would be surprised if a more ideal situation were to pop up again for him.
