you keep preaching loyalty to his players. I guess you expected him to stay forever?

what about our loyalty to  Stan Heath's basketball players when we fired him? Does it go both ways? Should a coach just stay in one place forever? never leaving for a better job. never being fired.

He just signed a 5 year deal.  People counted on him.  He left.  His team was successful and he broke it up.

This is also inaccurate. There are multiple factors as to why USF is a stepping stone job for the foreseeable future--you can't blame solely the lack of attendance.

People on here have blinders on.

Ok, so now that Dungy helped secure xCWT's job at Oregon who is he going be the advocate for to replace him?

Hopefully he goes away.  Mission accomplished.

The thing that bothers me is that he actually didn't win anything that we will remember in the future.  A conference championship even in this joke of a conference would have been something we would always have.  Not even a bowl win which would put him in the same stratosphere as Skip Holtz.  So basically restocked talent, got out us out of the Holtz Error.  Unfortunately this era will not go down in USF history though.

That's a bit of a stretch.  He won 10 games for the first time ever and his team obliterated nearly every USF record on offense.

Are you for real???

Wait maybe you are trolling. If so, you made me laugh.

Championships > Records.

I would rather have 8 wins and a conference championship than 10 wins in the AAC.

It was a good year, no doubt about it.  But twenty years from now, are we going to be here saying "remember that year we won 10 games"?  I don't think so, and I certainly hope not.  I think that was his point.
