Yup, generating ad revenue. Reporting the "news" objectively takes a distant backseat to agenda #1.

I just replied to an Odom tweet:

You can find the rest of our coverage from #USF-UCF here, including great stuff from @TBTimes_Bulls and @mjfennelly.

With:

@jeffodom @TBTimes_Bulls @mjfennelly Thanks for the links. It makes it easier to find than it is on the print edition.

Careful, he'll block you  lol

I'm not naive.  I get the fact that there are more FSU/UF fans in Tampa than Bulls fans, but they could have at least split the coverage on the front page or at the very least put the game coverage in place of the Toad editorial article.  Someone with and axe to grind at theTBT decided to go with the Fennelly editorial article over game coverage on the front page.

I really have no problem with UF/FSU getting the bulk of the front page but agree completely that instead of Toad's article, should have been the game article, with a pic. With it being a noon game, there's absolutely no reason there shouldn't have been more info on the game itself in the print version ....

Looked like decent coverage to me, face it, it's AAC (crappy conference) with little public interest.  More than half a page with box score, not too bad.  Subscribers who are interested in Bulls football either attended the game, watched it on TV, listened on audio, or kept up with it on the web...so what's left to report?

Are you a TBT subscriber?

You can be so tiresome at times ... and yes I do subscribe.

Have you tried Geritrol?

If you mean Geritol ... mixed in with a prune juice chaser every morning.

Not a problem guys. Just buy a copy of the Tampa Tribune instead! Oh, wait...

I get that UF/FSU is a big deal. But at least split the cover. Don't bury our accomplishments and focus on our coach potentially leaving. Wonder if Joey Knight has any input on product placement?

Anyways, I don't subscribe to the TBT, nor does anyone else in my family, nor would I. I stick to online sources that actually give two ***** about the team.

Not a fan of jk but CWT was retweeting a lot of his stuff last night.  Was making case for USF and mack.

I don't think JK has any input as a junior intern. Maybe when he gets a full-time position.

So he's the "Jimmy Olsen" of the sports department...

I've always loved reading the Times, but I'll never pay for a subscription to them. Seeing the amount of exposure they give USF has been very disappointing over the last few years.

Why pay when you can read all the USF coverage free on line?
