GAME DAY vs. Temple One of just 13 teams nationally with six or more wins, USF will look to post its program-record equaling fifth straight road victory, extend a best-ever start to a season and continue a program record conference start in the first of back-to-back Friday night appearances. The Bulls’ running game is red-hot with back-to-back 300 yard games and 100-yard performances from Marlon Mack & Quinton Flowers. USF brings nation-leading streaks for consecutive 200-yard rushing games (12), 35+ point games (11) and 440+ total offense games (11) into Friday. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: USF is 8-9 in Friday night games, winning its last, 65-27, vs. Cincinnati last year in Raymond James Stadium. USF’s last road Friday night win came at Syracuse (37-17) in 2011. RECORD START: At 6-1, USF has equaled the program-best start to a season, previously done in 2007 and 2008. USF is bowl eligible at the second-earliest time in program history. USF has never begun a season 7-1. BEAST OF EAST: USF has won nine straight games vs. East Division AAC teams, going 6-0 in 2015, and has won a school-record seven straight conference games overall dating to a loss at Navy on Oct. 31, 2015. #MACKATTACK: Marlon Mack posted his 17th career 100-yard game vs. UConn and became just the 17th 3,000yard collegiate rusher in Florida state history. He brings three straight 100-yard games into Friday. Coaching and execution needs to be on point though!

Their offense is really predicated on the run. If we don't let Thomas go crazy they really don't have much else. If we can get out to more than a 2 score lead early I think we blow them out. Their receiving group is not great and they are definitely not built to play from behind. On defense, they lost a lot Reddick is a one man wrecking crew and is all over the place, but I think we have way too much firepower for them Our guys just need to play like we have been. Nothing about Temple impresses me except Reddick on defense.

The last two games had those in spades. Granted we still won by multiple scores, but doing that in a hostile-(ish?) in environment is never a recipe for success. Still don't see how they, or any team in this conference, can shut down this offense for 60 minutes. Yet first Friday game of the year has me on edge. Temple has number 16 defense, so offense needs to protect ball this game.
