Sands had 3 carries for like 12 yards in garbage time and we are giving him stud status?

Here are my positives:

I am positive we need to work on end of game management, we probably are not going to be up 25 in the 4th every game and this offense needs to learn how to salt away a game.

I am positive the defense needs to learn the game is 60 minutes, not 30. The 1st vs 2nd half stats are crazy.

I am positive Kean has a cannon, but he needs to look at the 2nd receiver occasionally. But seriously, it looks like Flowers is throwing a wiffle ball and Kean a baseball.

Not sure if you're serious or not, but if serious, Flowers threw some lasers out there against Cincinnati.  I am also 100% (OK 99%) certain that he has an overall stronger arm and throws a better deep ball than Kean, as evidenced by the 50+ yard bombs Flowers seems to hit basically every game.

I will admit, and everyone can see, that Flower has struggled at times connecting on short/intermediate throws.  Kean seems to excel at these in limited opportunities, but arm strength is not a factor for Flowers.  It is to be noted, Kean has yet to hit a deep ball in his limited opps.

With the AAC's bowl lineup, only the championship matters

We're either going to the Cotton Bowl or the St. Pete bowl.  End of story.

I agree, Kean's arm looks way stronger though to the naked eye. It's the throwing motion. Flowers looks funky, Kean is fluid. It just fits the eye better. I would bet that Kean has a little more velocity, but, arm strength really isn't an issue for QF. Arm stregth is deceiving. Chad Pennington had zero velocity, but, he was a way better QB than say Jay Cutler who has a cannon.

Sat next to Mark Robinson on the flight home and he said that the first time he went to a practice this year he saw some kid throw a pass and immediately had to find out who it was. It was Kean.  A former pro thinks he has an excellent arm.

What did he say about Sands?

(a joke at my own expense)

Watching a highlite of MM's 49 yd td, did you notice how fast McCants (#8) is?

Yes! I saw that spin move and was like wow. There should be no drop off next year when Adams leaves.

Really didn't discuss any others, as it was late.  I just mentioned that it appeared that Kean had a lot of zip on those sideline passes and he said that he noticed that in that first practice.

Its not to say USF can't be a top 15 team. We are just saying that we aren't there yet. So I don't get how people are saying that holding Cincy to 20 is not our A game. If that is the case, then we haven't played our A game all year.

If that is the case, don't you think that maybe we just aren't as good as you think we are? I think next year, the sky is the limit for us. But for now, let us enjoy our high 20s (ranking wise) talent level team, as we go for the best record in school history.

Next year we can look at a top 15 ranking, with everyone outside Adams returning, and a more manageable OOC schedule. Oh, and Houston won't have Greg Ward

I would say that we haven't played our A game yet. Basically haven't executed in all phases of the game for 4 qtr...yet :GoBulls:
