Quinton Flowers had the "vision," and the ability - that's why he's starting and AW is where he is.

I guess hindsight is...but if he was never going to take a snap under center he might as well have stayed at UCLA on scholarship and enjoyed living rent free in Westwood. That campus and area is amazing

I doubt he had the option to stay at UCLA.

If he came here straight out of HS he would be in his 4th year as a starter in his senior season probably.

What's his major? Maybe he wants to focus on his academics or explore other opportunities besides football.

I feel sorry for him.  He's tried for a few years now and it has not worked out for him.  There has been no suggestion that he isn't a hard worker or committed so I'm thinking that it's just bad luck for him.  If he wants to go FCS I'm sure that are a LOT of teams that would be interested in him.

Was just about to post that. Hmmm. Something seems to be going on.

Just making room on the depth chart. Nothing to see here, move along.

I remember watching an interview with D'angelo Williams after his last game at Memphis. The reporter asked him if he ever regretted choosing Memphis over all the big name schools that recruited him in High School. He said that his mom told him to go where he was shown the most love because he was needed and wanted at Memphis more than any other school.

Before Asianti chose UCLA basically at the last minute after we needed him and wanted him very much, he should have taken that same advice.

We had to do what was best for USF by bringing in Flowers, Kean and now Oladakun.

It could have been Woulard's team from day one, but he chose not to come here and just got caught up in the numbers of decent QBs.

Hopefully, he finds a spot somewhere and it works out for him.

Maybe it was brought up moving from qb to other position?  Hope it works out for him.
