Is there a study that tells us what the temperature or "feels like" difrerence is between wearing a green or white shirt/jersey?

Never really realized or experienced this dilemma.

I read somewhere, years ago (no I don't have a link), that with the new fabrics the color of the clothing doesn't matter nearly as much as it use to.  There's still a difference, but it's negligible.

Of course I'll be wearing green!  Why would anyone wear anything else?  Anyone who thinks white is going to make you feel any cooler might want to just stay at home.  It s going to be a steam bath, and hot as hell, the color of your shirt is not going to make any difference.  Plus white makes you look fatter.

I just hope the players have been getting extra hydration this week. We don't need any of them coming out because of cramps.

GO BULLS!

I hate to sound like I'm indicting anyone, but 20 year-old kids  have promised us their max effort in a violent game for our entertainment, and we can't be bothered to match their enthusiasm by wearing green for a few hours?  Seems weak.  Though, I'm throwing stones from 3,000 miles away (while wearing green, however!)

Ultimately, I'm just happy that fans will be in the stands.  I guess I was just surprised by some of the responses in this thread.  Totally unexpected, actually.

You coming up for the Hollyweird watch party tomorrow?

Never really realized or experienced this dilemma.

A couple of years ago someone took the then newly release UA ColdBlack golf shirts and compared them "other" shirts using older "technology".  They actually just put a thermometer inside each shirt laying out in the sun for 30 minutes or so and took their temperature.

First, ColdBlack is amazingly impressive.  Golfing in Florida during the summer I use nothing but the ColdBlack shirts.  They were something like 15 or 20 degrees cooler than the same color shirt that wasn't ColdBlack.  No, I don't remember if the control shirt was UA or not.

Second, they did this with white shirts and with darker color shirts and the white in both technologies were significantly lower.

So, yes there is a temperature difference.  I'll try to find it and link, but I did a quick search already and couldn't find it.
