You're right.  I was probably too harsh on him.  It also looks like the port-o-let reference was an inside joke and not a backhanded swipe at the program.  Many of our criticisms are valid, but I'll give him a pass on that one.

It doesn't change a thing.  No one said he was the anti-christ or anything in that category of exaggeration.  His effort to be aloof and disinterested remains.  A little candid feedback is likely good for him.  Maybe it improves his performance on the beat.

As long as he doesn't go the way of Fennelly, he's serviceable. Just want to see more of the depth--he's clearly capable and has shown flashes, just not consistent enough yet.

So WDAE 620 just cancelled the Tom Jones and Rick Stroud morning show and are now replacing it with the nationally syndicated Mike & Mike show. 

I hope this is temporary - bad local media coverage is better than none.
