Holman is now and will stay the 2 at will LB behind Nigel Harris.  Possibly the starter if he continues to improve. Cecil Cherry and Danny are alternating at the 2 behind Auggie. My opinion is Cecil Cherry and Nick Holman should be the starters. But I imagine they will finish at the 2 with Harris and Sanchez remaining starters.

Long time between now & game 1, never know. I wouldn't be surprised to see Holman get a start, but dethroning Sanchez will take more than just athleticism. He's the heart of that D...for now.

Not possible. We covered this in the AW v. QF thread. You can not unseat a starter until you've proven you're better in a game. However, no idiot would put a kid on the field during a game who's only ever shown off his skills in practices. Therefore, all starters remain starters until they are physically incapable of playing either through injury, transfer, or exhausted eligibility. The only exception to this rule is if you're Mike White. Then you get to start even when you're incapable of playing due to injury.

The only other exception is if you're Matt Floyd. Then you get to start even when you're incapable of playing in a game situation, because you played well enough in practice camps to have your teammates call you captain.

There's only one thing in the world worse than being witty and that is not being witty.

You get herpes of the eye from looking for love in all the wrong places.  Sorry, it just seemed the proper place to post that ancient joke.

Wasn't Mike White's injury to his non-throwing hand?
