From what I remember, the location of the new rec fields was supposed to be where phase 2 of Greek was going to be.

That was a long ago master plan.  All newer ones have had the current location as the location for any future Greek expansion and where the new fields would be as athletic grounds.  Actually I think the last master plan had that area as a new tennis complex.

All Greek expansion would be in the location they are now... The map listed shows future expansion already planned.

If any further expansion is needed, there is still open space directly south of the existing buildings which can provide room for many more buildings, while keeping the Greek housing together and close to the rest of the dorms.

USF wants to have the the university into districts, Housing as one main district, including include the Greek village (with the exception of Jupiter/Poplar which is located in a separate housing village before the proposed districts were though of), Athletics in another, Academics, and Medical.

Credit hour prices have gotten out of control.

Indeed.  It's more like country club living at country club prices (unless you're able to attend gratis).  Unfortunately we make enough that we'll have to pay full price for our caucasian boys, assuming we determine it to be a worthwhile investment.  What a racket college has become.

Tuition prices are monitored by the state legislature; USF gets their "nickels and dimes" from tacked-on fees for everything like technology, environmental programming, etc.

People in Florida make me laugh (or in AZ in some cases).  Here is in-state tuition for College of NJ.  https://studentaccounts.tcnj.edu/files/2015/07/15-16-UGIS.pdf

When our daughter picked USF over staying in NJ and going to a state school the in-state NJ price was darn close to the OOS price for USF.

The school I teach at, UNH, is the highest in all 50 states for a public school. We are last in the nation for public funding (people are excessively cheap up here). I remember paying $2000 for USF tuition. Students at UNH pay $9,500.
