Just a quick look at the WKU board and they have received tickets in sections 6-8.  So they get true sideline seats midfield while we were given seats from about the 25 yard line and wrapping around the end zone.  What up with dat??  I'm beginning to hate this "let's play a college football game in a baseball stadium" more and more.

I remember something similar at the Trop.  I think I had the seat behind home plate, which would be rad for a baseball game.  I would have gone upper level to stay on the sideline if given the option.

Same, like watching in a cave.  All the while some jackhole kept yammering on about how awesome MagicJack was.

I saw Section 4 listed as obstructed view - did you find out what that meant?

I remember being only a few seats away from having the foul pole obstructing my view at the St. Pete Bowl, but it doesn't appear that that would be the case with section 4 here.

Yeah it says obstructed but I looked at a lot of google images and didn't see anything that would seem to obstruct the view from there. If there is, we will just move to some other seats.

They're ranked higher than us.

They're their conference champ.

They've won more games than us.

What have we done to earn those seats?

Those are the same seating locations that they had last year for BYU and Memphis. Section 4 will be in between WKU sections they should also have the bleacher seats in right field. That's what BYU had last year

we're the home team

We're a Florida team that's expected to bring more fans

The sidelines will be what's shown on TV

We beat better teams than they did.

So explain to me why wku should get the sidelines when they'll likely have less fans there than we do?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
