Maryland is in my eyes a must win game.

Must win or what?

No bowl or at least highly unlikely no bowl

There is no must win this week. I want to win and I'm optimistic that we win. However, a bowl game is well within reach even with a loss.

If we lose this game the likely hood is we will lose to Memphis (who is playing well) and be 1 and 4. Thus we will have to go 5 and 2 to get to six wins and I don't see that happening with the difficulty of the last games.

Maryland's biggest problem area has been pass defense so far this year.  Obviously, that's not an area that USF is really prepared to attack like Bowling Green did.  I will be interested to see how the defense responds Saturday.  They were great vs everything non Dalvin Cook related in the 1st two games.  Maryland has a dual threat QB and a couple bigger RB's but nothing on offense close to the level of Cook.  If the defense can hold the Terps to 21 or less, I think we can muster enough offense to get a win on the road.

The quotes from the players look like they where fairly encouraged after FSU. Which is good, I hope they bring some confidence to Maryland. Would be an absolutely huge win for CWT.

Bowling Green has a good offense put up 30 on Tennessee on the road and Maryland held them in check till the 4th quarter.

If Flowers plays good we should win..if not I could see us losing like 24 to 17.
