This is a prime reason i avoid clubs and ybor in general. Terrible....

I've done many events with the Orpheum guys (the club hosting the event) over the past decade -- some really great people working there. I have to say, though, they had no business hosting this type of event. They're just not setup to handle it from a security standpoint. I'm sure it was an outside promoter merely renting the spot, but I would have opted out on hosting that one.

 

Definitely sad news.
