I was there Mon-Wed this week; lots of construction on that campus but that railroad going through campus was a pain...

Older campus/buildings, but they are putting together a nice athletic district

However, athletic building seemed a but like a fish bowl... you go up the escalator and you can see the SA study areas

Don't hate on Redbird. He's like the only homer from another team that I can stand.

I'm obliged. I married a UK princess and like eating Christmas dinner with her and her family.

Cool bro. Maybe someday you guys will catch up with UK... but I doubt it.

Catch up with UK in football?   Think we caught up and surpassed them a long time ago my man.   Not hard to do though since they are one of the worst college football programs out there.

Says the guy with a smaller capacity stadium...

I personally wouldn't mind a smaller stadium and more wins as compared to what UK does EVERY YEAR in their half empty stadium.

And no I could care less how many fans they have compared to USF.

That is great for Louisville, but I am not sure how this relates to USF athletics.

They used to be in our conference and now they moved into a P5 conference and are expanding. We can compare and contrast to our situation since we were theoretically on the same level a few years back.

Although "theoretically" is good, I think "technically" is even better  ...

Always enjoyed the away games at UL.  Was able to tour the stadium when I was in town for business and got into the press and luxury boxes...very nice.

The open end, as I recall, was toward their practice fields and indoor practice facility.

they left usf standing at the starting line even with usf's obvious advantages

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

    Terry Lucas, 09/26/22
