  1. We were a last place joke with him. Don't see how we can't be a last place joke without him.
  2. USF athletics should resolve to stop sucking at almost everything it does.
  3. Looking forward to seeing cwt coach next year. He is coaching for his career. I think we'll improve. Though we were losers, we definitely looked more athletic last year. I believe that trend will continue. But if the season starts bad and cwt knows he's gonna get the hook, the second half of next season could be a new low for us.
  4. Nobody gets paid what they are worth, they get paid what they negotiate. Good for her. Bad for the board.
  5. We're grasping at straws at this point. Any coach worth a darn knows that CWT is down to his last chance. Whoever we hire will be wise to rent.
  6. If Holtz was a success before he got here. And he was a success after he left. . . . . . . . . . maybe the problem is/was on Fowler Ave.
  7. The AAC blows. Muschamp knows he'll get a second chance without toiling in the minors.
  8. Can't justify a new stadium with the sad sack programs that comprise the AAC.
  9. ESPN and the other networks will tell b12 which schools to take (if any). IMO, best case for usf is if networks conspire against b12 to subsidize pac12, sec and ACC poaching. In that case usf will join the b12 leftovers. I simply don't see Texas and ou in the same conference as USF, ucf, Memphis or cincy.
  10. I sometimes think Skip wanted to get fired by usf. some of the things he did were astounding and out of character. like golfing during 7 on 7 tournaments in campus. His quick landing at L. Tech was dubious. I can't remember the last time a guy got fired after a 3-9 season and got another HC job at the same level immediately.
  11. Taggart = mccullom problem is that BE hoops > AAC football x 10
  12. We are 1st team this season not to score in 1st quarter against SMU.
  13. If Napoleon was rolling out a true freshman for the first time, he would have stayed home and avoided Waterloo altogether. I think we find a new low tonight.
  14. 1. Ecstatic with hoops 2. No 3. SMU offense 4. Chicken Panchos from Chuy's Mexican Grill 5. Taylor. But I'd probably have more fun with her mom at this point.
  15. Schiano wouldn't accept the USF gig. He can do better. The AAC isn't the Big East, and the modern incarnation of USF isn't Rutgers. Heck, I think the AAC is inferior to the version of CUSA that USF used to play in. Schiano is going to turn up in the Big 10 (at one of the 4 or 5 dumpster fire programs) or ACC (ironically at Pitt or Cuse). Papa Holtz flamed miserably with the jets and parlayed failure into Arkansas, then Notre Dame.
  16. No way our atrocious team is going to go on the road and win a night game by 13. That point spread might make me fall off the wagon.
  17. They've already decided .... even though the season isn't over yet. Some people just aren't cut out to be college football fans ... or they expect to be entertained at live college football games.
  18. the story next week is the ugly conference matchup between atrocious teams. It is fitting that thus is one of the games that ESPN sold on the aftermarket. AAC is DOA.
  19. Since September 24, 2011 (UTEP), USF has gone. . . . . . . . 4 and 18 at home. Please stop blaming fans, especially students, for not attending. USF football is unwatchable and the losing is systemic.
  20. This thread needs to get bumped everytime somebody tried to blame students, alumni or fans for poor attendance.
  21. No that level of football is his comfort zone. He is overmatched at anything higher. Same with Taggart. Louisville had the same thing with Kragthorpe, but was quick to make the change when needed. what level do you think USF and the AAC is?
  22. If Taggart doesn't get a QB, they might as well can him now.
