Santa will be delivering thousands of free tickets and he don't care if they've been bad or good. . . He just needs to move product to the crappiest bowl matchup in the history of the universe.

    We're a lock B5 conferences and networks will argue for months over our inclusion. Networks will eagerly insist on footing the bill and paying AAC schools on par with B5 schools. B5 schools will take offense and insist that they simply redistribute the existing largesse with the 12 AAC schools. Both sides will rejoice in sharing the airtime with AAC as we begin playing televised conference games in the plum spots on Saturday and Thursday. I'm going to keep my eye on this Arresco guy. . . . He's going places. But I've felt that way ever since he snagged Tulane.

    He can not win big here. Leavitt turned down Alabama and we fired him. Now he is a coordinator. Loyalty in the Generican is nonexistent in ANY form or fashion. All teams want out why would a coach feel differently. $1M a year changes your life forever. $2.5M/year changes your family members lives forever. The guy left his alma mater for USF. He'd leave USF. When he was losing the AD was unwilling to offer an endorsement. i saw a prediction article ESPN.com homepage today that USF is a potential landing spot for Lane Kiffen if Taggart leaves. Don't know how I feel about that, but USF will be fine if Taggart leaves.

    So instead of the cartel (which includes the networks) letting two teams join its crappiest B5 conference, it'll decide to share the pie with a sixth conference. By the way, Arresco looks like a charlatan more and more each day. Remember when he said he thought the neutered big east cmight fetch a billion dollar tv deal (instead it dissolved).

    When it comes out Monday that ESPN and fox paid big12 NOT to expand, usf needs to do some soul searching we either need to think outside the box or shrink the fb budget buying into arresco's "big6" violation is asinine and waiting for the b5 to share is naive

    That the Generican is a crappy conference with no real reward for its champion is definitely a contributing factor to lukewarm attendance.

    So instead of naming schools for membership the story will be that all G5 schools are worthless and unworthy of joining a conference with Iowa state, Kansas state and tcu. Had a bad feeling for our chances, but I never saw this ending up where the B5 Kisses its own ass.

    I truly admire your out-of-the-box thinking on this. sadly, no school will sign a GOR to be in the AAC because the AAC is a garbage conference of which no school (that truly wishes to compete athletically) wants to belong.
